Scrapkit used for this tutorial is from
Dees Sign Depot
'Toad-ally in Love'
#1. Open paper_14.jpg Shift + D to duplicate..
close the original.. the duplicated one is now your working image.
#2. Apply the mask that was in the supplies zip to
the paper using the settings below..
Merge/ merge group
#3. Open paper_11.jpg and drag its layer over to your
working image. Apply the same mask to the new paper layer.
Merge/ merge group
Use your deformation tool to turn the top paper layer like it shows
#5. Go to image/ canvas size 900 x 900 center
element44.png copy and paste it over to your working image.
Open element 7.png resize it 75%
Open element 14.png resize 55%
Open element 39.png resize 55%
Open element 1c.png resize 75%
Open element 45.png resize 60% put this puddle's
layer below element 44.png, where the right frog is
Use your deformation tool to pull out the corners of
both mask layers.. want them larger but not too large.
Here below is the placement of the elements.
On the water puddle that you have under the right frog... Duplicate
the layer 3 times.. so you have 4 layers of it.
..You're going to resize the top 3 layers but never
the bottom layer. You layer palette should look like mine below
Resize Water puddle #3 80% resize water
puddle #2 75% water puddle 1 70%
Note: when you resize each of the puddles.. it moves
them where they aren't in the center... you will have to
make sure they are lined up on top of each other.
don't resize the original puddle
#8. Open your animation shop. For the first set... hide the water
puddle 1 & 2 just have the original puddle and puddle 3 showing also
the bottom mask layers
the top layers showing.. right click on the top of your image and
over to animation
shop and paste as a new animation..
Back to PSP and hide water puddle 3 and UN hide
puddle 2 and the top and bottom layers are still showing too.
back to animation shop and paste behind current frame
in PSP hide puddle 2 and unhide puddle 1 the
top and bottom layers are still showing.. COPY MERGE
back to animation shop and paste behind current
frame.. you should have 3 frames to your animation now..
Ctrl + A to select all frame... right click and go to
frame properties and set the speed to 20 or 25.. which ever you
Check your animation.. if it looks
like you want.. Save As a GIF...tada your done!
