Supplies (WSL_Mask84, Fairy Animation)

 

#1. Open paper (30).jpg   Shift + D to duplicate the image.. Close the original and use the copy as your working image.

#2. Resize your paper 85% , right click on its background layer on the layer palette and promote background layer...

#3.  Go to layers/ load/ save mask ... Load mask from disk. Find the mask that you saved previously from supplies zip

WSL_Mask84. Using the settings below.

#4. Your image should look like below.

 

#5. Open frame 7.png  resize 80%  copy and paste it over to your working image.

Open paper (35).jpg and resize 45%  drag the paper's layer over to your working image.. to below the frames layer.

Close the original paper's layer NOT saving the changes..

Sharpen once on the scene layer (paper 35)below the frame.

#6. Use the magic wand tool and click on the inside of the frame (select it's layer on layer palette)

go to Selections/ modify/ expand 10 pixels  INVERT

Your image should look like below. 

# 7.  Making sure you are on the scene (paper 35  layer....CUT... it should delete all the extra on the paper outside the frame area

Select None...

#8. Open element 10.png (fan) resize 80% Copy and paste it over to your working image..

Use the deformation tool to turn it as it shows below... when you get it positioned like you want... Sharpen once

I also used the deformation tool to enlarge the mask layer a wee bit bigger... and positioned it where it shows both

more to the right and bottom.. Look below for reference.

#9. Open element 1.png (glitter frame) and resize 75% re-colorize it.. using the settings below

Then go to Adjust/ Brightness and  contrast/ Curves and lighten the glitter frame using the settings below

#10 Copy and paste the glitter frame over to your working image.

Go to Image/ Canvas size 900 x 900 center justify...

Use the deformation tool to turn the glitter frame.. We are going to use the erase tool to erase a lot of the frame.. just using it for a scroll decoration

Go to Image/ Resize ALL layers 88% then go to image again/ canvas size 900 x 900 Center justify.

It really helps if you have these tools that I use.. at EASY ACCESS on your tool bars... :)

#11.  Your image should look like the one below.

#12.Open element 137.png (fern) resize 65%  copy and paste it over to your working image.. top right.

Use your eraser tool to erase the pot on the bottom.. don't worry that you have to erase some of the fronds too

Here is how it should look.

#13.  Next open element  132.png ( grn vine)   cut it in half.. and only use one of the halves

Use the deformation tool to turn it. Sharpen it once.. Don't forget your 3D drop shadow on all the elements.. NOT the fern though.

#14. Open element 124.png  resize 50% copy and paste it over to your working image

Deformation tool to turn it... like below...Sharpen

duplicate it.  Don't apply the shadow on them till you place them in the correct positions

#15.  Open the tube your going to use... If you use the one I did... resize it 60% (recolor the blue shoes same setting as you re-colored the

glitter frame in step #9.

Copy and paste her to your working image.

#16. Open element 102.png (grass) copy and paste it below the tube layer.

Add a new layer and move it down to the bottom of the layer palette.. and fill with white.

Open element 150.png (glitter hearts) resize 65% Put this layer below the flower layer above the ivy layer.

#17. Open frame (5).png  put its layer below the flowers and erase some of the frame...

Open element 143.png (Bow) resize 80%

Like below.

#18. Open element 2.png (hummer) resize 40%

Open element 29.png  (heart cup) resize 20%

Open element 9.png (hat) resize 45%

Copy and paste all these elements on to your image..

Below shows which layers to  merge... I first merged all the layers from the peach frame on up..

the layers below are shown below... the white bkg.., the mask, fan & the scene behind the frame... merge those together..

#19. Hide the top merged layers. Have the bottom layers you just merged.. showing.. Right click on the top of the image window and COPY MERGED..

#20. Open your animation shop. Right click on its desktop and paste as a new animation.

Open the white moths. mng animation that was in your supplies zip...

Notice it has 15 frames to the animation.. Duplicate the frame on the new animation from PSP till it has 15 frames..

Ctrl + A to select all the frames on each of the animations.

Click , hold and drag F:1(frame one) of the white moths over to F: 1(frame one) of the new animation

Place the moths just below the oval.

Over in PSP  hide the merged background layers and Un hide the top merged layers.. Right click COPY MERGED

In animation shop right click on the desk top and paste as a new animation.. Duplicate this one frame till you have 15 frames again

Select all the frames and Click, hold and drag F: 1 of the top merge layers over to F: 1 of the bottom layer and the moth animation...

do NOT let go of the mouse button till you place the top layers exactly where they need to go... go have any of it

go over the edge... pay close attention to the oval scene with in the frame...Position it where you don't see

any of the edges of the frame.. Then let go of the mouse button.

Check your animation to see if it all looks ok.. if so

Save as a GIF.. your done!
