it won't be so flat on the bottom.
Put your 3D drop shadow

elements go off the page on the right side..
move the steampunk girl

You will see why we do
this.. when we start to put the animations on the
tag...there needs to be room in the frame.
#14. Open the text file
' Steam it Up... that's in the supplies zip and copy and
paste it over to your working image.. have it's layer on

top merged layers

You end up with 2
layers on the layer palette.
#15. Time to resize the
whole image.. I resized 88% then sharpened the top
merged layer once
Hide the top merged
layers... just have the bottom ones showing.. Right
click on the top of the window and
Open your animation
shop and right click on it's desktop and paste as a new
Open all the
animations.. that came in the supplies zip. There
are 3 of them
They all have 34
frames.. Duplicate the one frame , new animation from
PSP till you have 34 frames.
That's clicking the
duplication button 6 times that will give you 33 frames
click the last frame.. and click the duplication button
will give you the 34
frames you need.
Ctrl + A to select all
the frames in each of the animations.
We're going to put the
swinging lights on your new animation first..
#16. We do this like
always... Click , hold and drag F: 1 of the lights over
to F: 1 of the new animation.
don't let go of the
mouse button till you get the lights placed where they
need to be
#17. Now for the
2nd animation.. gears...Click hold and drag F: 1 of the
gears over to F: 1 of your working animation.
Placement is important
so might have to undo and such till you get it all lined
#18. Now for the
clock face animation... Drag F: 1 of the clocks
over to F: 1 of your working animation.
#19. Back over in
PSP... hide the bottom layer and un hide the top merged
layers. Right click on the image top

copyright info for the tube.
Over in Animation shop
right click somewhere on the desktop and paste as a new
the one frame of the top layers till you have 34
Like all the other
times... Click, hold and drag F: 1 of the top layers
over to F: 1 of your working animation.
Be sure and line up the
top layers where none of it goes off the edges , make
sure you pay close
attention to the bottom
of the frame area... where you don't put the top layer
#21. Check your
animation if all looks well... Save as a GIF
optimization of GIF
Transparency Tab isn't there when the thing your
trying to save isn't on a transparency... so to set it..
you have to have a
tube...that's transparent... Use
these settings below.. don't matter about the
other tabs RIGHT NOW..
#22. ok now... on your
new animation from this tutorial.. click the SAVE AS
...as you see
below the Partial
Transparency tab is not there.. that's ok... when you
saved the tube a min ago... it will keep those setting
for the partial
transparency tab...On the colors tab below make sure its
set to 255 colors.. See that's the PITS...until someone
makes an animation
program that saves a
GIF with 16 million colors like a .jpg is.. it will
limit our GIF animations with only the 255 colors..
which screws with lighter colors like
flesh. Grrrr lol
On all my animations... I check either
Optimized Octree OR
Optimized Median Cut.. I
will try both of them saving my GIF and the best
one I use... it will be
different for each animation you do... cause of the
different colors in the animation.
Once you get the saving
of your GIF.. then you're done!!!!
Toodles till the next
