Supplies (art word, and Mask) Put your mask in your mask folder or any folder just so

you 'show' PSP where to look for your masks.

This tutorial is written using PSP X 6.

Should work in other versions with small differences

June 22, 2016

#1. Open paper 7.jpg  Shift + D to duplicate the image.. close the original.

Your duplicated image is now your working image

Right click on the background layer on the layer palette.. and promote to background layer.

#2. Go to layers/ load/save mask/ from disk

Use the settings below...  then merge/ group

Resize the mask layer 80%.. then go to image/ canvas size

900 x 900 center justify.

#3. Open element fr1.png (frame)

Set your selection tool on circle  , feather 25  click on the inside of the frame and pull out a circle selection

like below  Colorize it using these settings

Selection none.. copy and past it over to your working image with the mask on it

Duplicate your mask layer and flip

#4.  Open pp2.jpg Copy and paste it over to your image below the frame layer. Use the deformation tool to

pull in the edges till it is a tiny bit larger than the center opening of the frame.

Use your magic wand tool now and click on the inside of the frame..

go to selections.. / modify/ expand 10 pixels  INVERT and cut on the brown/pink paper layer.

#5.  Apply a 3D drop shadow on the frame now.. using these settings below

use this same setting on all elements... if its a lil dark for you you can back down the opacity

back down on the 100% opacity if you need to.

This is something I just found out.. if you have the V= 1 and the H= -1  and go way up on the blur.. like over 15.

the shadow will be on all sides of the elements..

#6.Open the tube your going to use... copy and paste it over to your working image... on  TOP of the frame... then duplicate her

layer and put her under the frame... be careful NOT to move her in any way on the image..

Erase on the tube that is on TOP of the frame.. the bottom part of her legs up to the edge of the frame

and down below the frame too.. On the bottom layer of the girl under the frame part..

erase part of her legs that come out below the frame area.

Put the 3d drop shadow on the top girl layer using same settings as the frame.

#7. Add a new layer on the bottom of the layer palette and fill with white.

Open element 21.png (dark pink rose)  resize 60%

Open element 28.png (Pink Rose) resize 55%

Open element 12.png  resize 65% Sharpen twice. Mirror it

place it below the roses

Open element 11.png (flower)  resize it 55% sharpen twice

Open element 30.png (splatter) resize 75%    duplicate, position it just above the mask layers..

see placement below

#8. Open element 16.png (glasses)  resize 75%  use the deformation tool to turn them to the left Sharpen once

Open element 52.png (feather pen) resize 90%

Open element 1.png (blow torch)  resize 65%  sharpen once  mirror

Open the steampink text that was in the supplies zip  resize 29%

Open element 32.png (butterfly dangle) resize

At the very last I opened element 24.png (bow) and colored it the same pink as I did the frame.

Right now my  layer palette looks like below

Open element 7.png (winged heart)  resize 90% (don't put your 3D drop shadow on it YET.. like you did all the other elements :)

#9. I merged some of the layers to make it easier

Notice the  butterfly dangle is on it's own layer BELOW the top merged layers

and the Winged heart is on it's own layer.

#10.Duplicate both the butterfly dangle 2 times

and duplicate the winged heart layer 2 times

The reason were doing this.. is were are going to apply EyeCandy5/ Textures on the winged heart layers

#11.Just Select all/ float/ defloat the winged heart layer

and on EACH of those winged heart layers just the settings below

on the first one as is.. on the 2nd and 3rd ones  hit the random seed button each time

AFTER you apply the EC 5 Textures on the winged heart layers then put the 3D drop shadow you used on the frame.

#12. ok now for the dangle butterfly... were going to make like its swinging side to side... it will have 3 positions..  to the left..

middle and to the right. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE TOP OF THE LOOPS IT WILL BE PIVOTING FROM THERE..

AND EACH TIME YOU MOVE IT FIRST TO THE LEFT (SHARPEN ONCE)  THEN LET THE MIDDLE ONE JUST STAY WHERE IT

IS... ON THE 3RD LAYER OF THE DANGLE  MOVE IT TO THE RIGHT.. (SHARPEN ONCE WHEN DONE)

TRY NOT TO MOVE THE TOP... WHERE THE DANGLES PIVOT... IT WONT LOOK RIGHT IF YOU MOVE THEM

WRONG.

Now is the time to resize the whole image if you want.. you might have to sharpen the layers with the tube tube on it..

have all layers showing but just the FIRST Butterfly Dangle and the first  winged heart showing the other  two of each element hidden.

You know how to do this lol

Copy merged... over to animation shop and paste as a new animation.

Back to PSP and hide that top dangle and top winged heart and UNhide the middle of each of those elements.

Back to animation shop and paste behind current frame.

Back to PSP . hide the middle      winged heart and dangle butterfly and UN hide the  3rd of their layers  and copy merge..

over in animation shop you paste behind current frame  You should have 3 frames now from PSP

Check your animation to see if it looks ok... is it going to fast.. Select all the frames right click on them and go to frame properties... and set it to 30.

Now select all frames  COPY and paste  behinde the 3frame  you should have 6 frames now... Check to see if the last 3 frames are still selected.. go to

animation and reverse those 3 frames... check your animation... it should look better.. as far as the butterfly dangle  goes.. now it goes from left middle right then back to middle the left... It should swing more normal now... if not... UNDO UNDO UNDO  I had to do that twice.. start my animation from PSP    AGAIN lol..

See it happens to all of us..

Open the fire mng animation that was in the supplies zip

I know it has more frames than your animation from PSP has..  it wont matter..

Select all frames on each of the animations... Click, hold and drag F: 1 of the fire animation over to F:1 of you new animation.. let go

of mouse when you place it where you want... at the end of the blow torch.

Check your new animation... if all looks ok..

Save your animation as a GIF when done..

Toodles till next time
