Scrap used for this tutorial is a FTU kit from Candy's Treats 'Sleigh Bells' found on her blog.

Mask (WSL_Mask84)

Supplies  ( snow scene, mask and snow animation)

This tutorial is written in PSP X 6 on Jan 9th 2017 by Swheat Creations.

 

#1.  Open paper 16.jpg  Shift + D to duplicate the paper... close the original and the copy is now your working image.

#2.  Apply the mask to the paper using these settings.

#3. Merge / merge group.

Go to image canvas size  850 x 850 center justify.

#4. Open the snow painting that was in the supplies zip . Use the deformation tool to push in the

corners to make it fit below the frame.

#5.  Add a new layer on the bottom of the layer palette and fill with white.

Your image should look like the one below.

#6. Open element flower cluster.png (two flowers together) use your deformation tool to turn it sideways. resize it 69%

V=0 H= 5 opacity   70% color black  12 blur  (use this 3d drop shadow on all elements as their shadow)

#7. Open element blossom 2.png resize 30%  C & P it on top of the double flowers Duplicate and resize the duplicate 80%

#8. Open element bow 5.png. Darken it using Curves

#9  Mirror the bow. Place it below the flowers. Move all the flowers and bow over to the left side where it shows more of the snow scene.

#10. Merge all layers from the frame on up together.. Place your tube on your image now resize accordingly.. If you use the same one as myself resize it 88%

#12. Open the element SleighBells.png resize it 80%

 

 

#13. Don't forget your copyright info for the tube.

Open silver swirl.png  colorize it.. resize it 80%  C & P it over to above your mask layer duplicate the swirl 2 times... move them around

 

# 14. Don't forget to erase part of the Snow painting that shows below the frame.

#15. Merge all the layers from the frame on up

now merge all the layers from the snow painting on down to white background.

You should have just 2 layers now. Hide the top merged layers just have the bottom layer showing...Right on the top of the image  and copy merged.

#16. Open your animation shop Right click on the animation shop desk top and paste as a new animation.

#17.  You should just have one frame there so far

Open the snow animation that was in the supplies zip It has 27 frames to it... duplicate the frame from PSP that's in animation shop till you have

27 frames.  Ctrl + A to select all frames on both animations Click hold and drag F: 1 of the snow animation over to F: 1 of the back ground  frames...

you might have to do this a few times to get it where it starts like its suppose to. if you get it wrong UNDO and re-drag the snow back over there

when it's right... go to PSP hide the bottom layers and unhide the top layers .Copy merged. and over in animation shop right click on the desktop and paste as a new animation.  Duplicate the one frame till you have 27 frames. Select all the frames again

click hold and drag F: 1 one of the top layers over to F: 1 of your bottom layers and snow animation line it up correctly when its lined up let go of mouse.

Check your animation if all looks ok... save as a GIF
