#1. Open paper  04.jpg   Shift + D to duplicate the image.. close the original.

The copy is now your working image. Resize the copy 80%

Right click on the paper layer on the layer palette.. and promote background layer.

Go to Layers/ load save mask/ load mask from disk

find the mask from the drop down window and use the settings below.

#3. Apply the same mask to the blue paper.

#4.  Pull the top mask down some as shown below.

#5.  Open Frame1.png  resize 85%.... copy and paste over to your working image.

#6. Open paper 09.jpg  resize 65%  copy and paste it over to your working image below the frame layer.

Use your magic wand tool and click on the inside of the frame you just copied to your working image.

go to selections/ modify/ expand 10 pixels INVERT the selection.. then CUT or DELETE.. that gets

rid of the extra white paper around the frame.

#7. Select none now... Add a 3d drop shadow on to the frame.. using these settings

V&H 3  opacity 57.. blur 8 black color

Click on the frame on the layer palette and merge down on the white paper below it..

So that the frame and the paper are merged and can be moved together..

#8. Open the element Matte2.png  apply an inner bevel to it using the settings below

#9. when done copy and paste it over to your working image below the frame layer. Apply a

3d drop shadow to the circles.. use the same settings as before..

#10.  Add a new layer to the bottom of the layer palette.. fill with white.

Open the tube you're going to use.. if you use the same one as I do.. resize her 80%

copy and paste her over to working image.

#11. Open element stamp 03.png  resize 80% copy and paste it to your working image.

Open element  fabric flower 03.png resize 35%

element fabric flower01.png resize 33%

element fabricflower02.png resize 25%

element green sprig.png resize 40%  erase the long stem.

What my image looks like so far..

Open flower 01.png and flower02.png resize both 30%

#12. Open the pinwheel.png.... copy and paste it over to working image

Open brad02.png resize 60% paste it above the pinwheel layer so that it hides the bottom of pinwheel.

I merged all the layers below the brad and pinwheel.. so that it wouldn't be so confusing on the layer palette..

Don't forget the copyright info for your tube.

#13. Use your selection tool set on  free hand/ point to point.

#14. Click around the pinwheel top... being extra careful at the stick area.

when you enclose the top of the pinwheel.. copy and paste to a new layer. while its still selected  erase the original pinwheel TOP.

#15. Move the  pasted pinwheel top back into original position  like below. then duplicate the pinwheel top 2 times

so you end up with 3 pin wheel top layers  Look at my layer palette below.

#16.on the top one leave as is.. on the next one down (middle one) Use your deformation tool to turn it to the left

take care NOT to move it up or down.. just turn on its axis.  Do this to the bottom pinwheel top.

You might have to view the middle one  to see how far it's turned, then hide it's layer and turn the bottom pinwheel top.

Bottom line is each of the pinwheel top are in 3 different positions as far as  turns go... they are all still in the same position

as far as placement up or down.

#17. all of the pinwheel tops are showing in this pic below. this will give you an idea on how much to turn each of them

After all 3 are positioned.. apply your 3D drop shadow on them and the stick.

I resized my whole image 85%

#18.  Below shows all of the pinwheel layers showing..

#19.  You hide the middle and bottom pinwheel tops have all the other layers showing..

Right click on the image top and Copy MERGED.

#20. Open your animation shop and right click on it's desktop and paste as a new animation.

Back in PSP hide the top pinwheel layer and have the middle one showing..

COPY MERGE

#21. Back in animation shop you paste after current frame.. so this one more time... hiding the middle pinwheel layer and un hiding

the bottom one.. COPY MERGED AGAIN.. and in animation shop you paste behind current frame.

You should end up with a 3 framed animation.. yes?

Check your animation now.. does it move correct??

To tell the truth mine didn't look like it was really twirling so I closed my new animation out and didn't save it

back in PSP I moved the pinwheel layers a lil bit more tweaking their positions some and went through the steps again..

I also on the two pinwheel layers where I used the deformation tool they looked a lil bit blurry so I sharpened them once..

the jewel in the center had been blurry  when you move something with the deformation tool it almost always needs

to be sharpened once..

the last time it looked like I wanted it to...

Save as a GIF when done..

Have fun!

Toodles till next time friends :)
