Scrapkit used for this tutorial is
a freebie from
Soxsational Scraps. ' Halloween Fun'
Mask put the mask in your mask folder
#1. Open frame4.png Shift + D
to duplicate the image.. close the original . the copy is now
your working image
Resize 85% go to Image/ canvas size
900 x 900 center justify.
#2. Open BG12.jpg copy and
paste it's layer over to your working image...drag it's layer below
the frame layer.
Apply the mask to the paper by
going to layer/load/save mask/ mask from disk
#3. Copy and paste Bkg7.jgp
to your working image... put its layer below the frame layer.
#4. Use your magic wand tool and
click on the inside of the frame. go to selections/ modify/
expand 10 pixels. INVERT... Cut on the eyeball paper layer..
Apply a 3D drop shadow on the
Using the settings below for
the shadow.. on the frame.
#5. Now duplicate the eyeball paper
#6. Use your brush tool set at 60
using black...round brush at 100% on EACH of the eyeball
layers... block out some of the eyes by making them blink.
#7. On EACH of the 3 eyeball layers
block out different eyes..
#8. Add a new layer drag to the
bottom of the layer palette... fill with white.
#9. Add all the elements your going
to add to your image.. I won't go through those details.. don't
forget your 3D drop shadows.
#10. Crop your image now and/or
resize if you want to.
#11. Hide the 2nd and 3rd of the
eyeball layers... Right click on the top of the image... COPY
OVER TO YOUR ANIMATION SHOP AND
Paste as a new Animation
back to PSP and hide that top
eyeball layer and UN hide the middle eye ball layer. Right
click COPY MERGED..
over to animation shop and right
click on your new working animation and paste behind current
frame... do this again for the 3rd bottom eye ball layer...unhide
COPY MERGED... paste behind current
You will end up with 3 frames to
your new animation...Ctrl + A to select all the frames... hit the
duplicate button once.
You should have 6 frames to your
animation... Open the Bat.mng that you downloaded.. it has 6 frames
to it also...
Ctrl + A all frames on the bat...
drag F: 1 of the bat over to the F: 1 of your new working
animation...let go of mouse when you have it placed exactly
where you want it... You should be
done now.. Save as a GIF..
