Supplies (2 animations,
This tutorial was written using PSP
#1. Open paper 3.jpg Shift +
D to duplicate the image.. close the original
the copy is now your working image.
Right click on the background layer.. on palette and
promote background layer.
Apply the mask that was in the
supplies zip to the paper using these settings below
#2. Go to image/ canvas size
900 x 900 center justify.
Open myframe1.png Copy and
paste it over to your working image.
#3. Use your deformation tool to
pull out the edges of the mask layer to enlarge
Flip the mask then mirror it.
#4. Use your magic wand tool to
select inside of the frame...besure you are on it's layer.
Selections/modify/ expand 10
Open paper 7.jpg copy and
paste it over to your working image. like below..
Selections/ INVERT now Select the
paper layer and CUT or delete.
#5. Apply a 3D drop shadow on the
frame layer V& H 4 75 opacity 9 blur color black
Duplicate the mask layer..
Add a new layer on the bottom of
the layer palette and fill with white.
your image should look like below.
Make sure none of the mask gets too close to the edge where it cuts
#6. Open the two tubes by ŠAnna
Marine Duplicate the frame layer
put the larger of the two between
the top and bottom frames
On the tube layer Select/ Select
all/ float/ de-float. Highlight the top frame's layer
and erase the top part of the frame
#7. Then highlight the tubes layer
and erase the part of the dress that sticks out of the bottom of the
Open the other tube.. and resize
her 80 % copy and paste her over to your image between the two
#8. Set the layer mode for her on
screen... Get your eraser tool and erase some of her edges.. that
sticks out of the frame area
and the fencing that is on the
tube. Sharpen a few times
#9. Open element 140.png and use
colorize to change it's color.. if you have to recolor something
else use the same settings .
You will have to erase the extra roses on the outside.
#10. Use your deformation tool to
turn the roses like below.
#11. Open element 37.png colorize
it using the same settings.. resize it 77% copy and paste it over to
duplicate it's layer.. flip and
mirror... use the deformation tool to turn it like you want it.
Open element 77.png colorize
it to match Copy and paste it over to working image.
take its layer below all other layers.
Use the deformation tool to turn
it... Sharpen two times.
#12.Open element 137 (candle)
resize 70 % I re-colored the candle.. just the wax
part.. Have the shadow on a separate layer
so I could erase part of the shadow
where the flame was.
Open element 45.png resize
#13. Open element 131.png (dangle)
resize 50% sharpen
on the element 131.png (daggle)
select/ select all/ float/ de-float..
then click on the bow's layer and
use your erase tool to erase part of the bow that's in front of
the dangle looks like its through
#14. Open rose element 121.png
resize 50% colorize sharpen twice..
Have it's layer on the top of layer
Open the text wording that was in
the supplies zip.. Resize it 37%
copy and paste over to your working
image. Crop if you need to.
I ended up Resizing all layers 88%
To bring the size down.
Don't forget your copyright info..
to make the symbol for copyright hold the Alt key down + 0169 on the
number key pad
#15. Merge all layers...right click
on the top of image window and COPY
Open your animation shop and right
click on the desktop and paste as your new animation.. (from PSP )
Also open the two
animations that were in your supplies zip.
Notice they have 21 frames each...
Ctrl + A to select all the frames
duplicate the one framed animation
from PSP till you have 21 frames on it.. Select all frames on it
do the candle flame first... Click
, hold and drag F: 1 of the candle frame animation over to F: 1 of
your new working animation.
let go of mouse button when you get
it placed in correct position.
do the same for the pink circles
Check your animation and see if it
looks right to you... when done doing that..
Save as a GIF. You're done!
